When Mosaic decided to become a
community home church and Mike and I decided that God was leading in the
direction of community, I had some reservations. Sure, I had always had that
dream of living in a two story house with a picket fence around it and lots of
flowers, but never realized that God knew that dream and was going to make it a
reality. How often do we limit Him because of our own limitations?
Well, I am living in a two story house
with a picket fence and lots of flowers. Our previous owners loved flowers and
plants and the yard is proof! You can see flowering shrubs and plants of all
kinds everywhere around the house. So yesterday I decided to take some pictures
of them to share with you. The lilac bush did produce some beautiful blossoms
in spite of the recent abnormally cold weather we have experienced. Irises are
blooming everywhere and I can hardly wait to see what the next one is going to
look like when the blossom unfolds! Peonies are ready to bloom as well. From
the upstairs window in the office, I can count seven rose bushes full of buds,
not to mention the ones on the sides of the house and in the front. There are
lilies along the sidewalk and scattered in various other places. My oh my, I am
experiencing a little taste of heaven right here in my own yard!
